Full Groom
A Full Groom is a short single-length clip over the whole body (usually less than 13mm) and a scissor-finished face. This is perfect for older dogs or dogs with health issues who just need to be kept comfortable, dogs who don’t cope well with the grooming process, or dogs who like to live hard and play hard. A consistent length all over helps keep your dog feeling fresh and knot-free for longer. It is a great, low-maintenance grooming option.

During the consultation, we will discuss what style you would prefer. The dogs’ coat should be well maintained, and have minimal knotting or matting, to receive this service.

Hand Stripping
Hand stripping is a grooming technique primarily used for wire-haired dog breeds, such as terriers and some spaniels, to maintain the characteristic texture and appearance of their coats. Unlike clipping or using electric trimmers, hand stripping involves manually pulling out the dead outer coat or "guard hairs" by hand or with a specialised stripping tool. This process helps to encourage the growth of new, healthy hair and preserves the natural colour and texture of the coat.
During hand stripping, the groomer carefully grasps small sections of the coat and gently pulls the dead hair out in the direction of growth. This technique requires skill and patience to ensure that only the appropriate hair is removed without causing discomfort or damage to the dog's skin. Hand stripping is often preferred for certain breeds because it helps to maintain the coat's water-resistant properties and prevents matting or tangling.
